This note describes the research agenda my co-authors and I have developed over the past 15 years, and explains how our papers fit into that agenda. The intended audience is academic researchers, but I would like the note to be accessible to non-academic readers as well, so I’ve tried to avoid using too much technical jargon (although there is still some).
